Join our Summer Camp Staff Team for 2024
Who Should APply?
We are looking for individuals ages 18+ with theatre, arts, and education backgrounds who have direct experience working with kids ages 6-18 t join our stellar and trusted Camp Staff Team. We are especially interested in meeting writers who may like to be involved in our brand new Teen Playwriting Camp. Those with theatre, music, or visual art are encouraged to highlight their area of specialty during application. We are also looking for a Camp Director that will not need to have an arts background but should be well-equipped to work with children and have strong organization and coordination skills. Because we are working with young artists, those hired must agree to a background check.
When and WHere is camp 2024?
This summer, we will be hosting two sessions: a 4-day Playwriting Intensive for teens ages 13-17 and our regular 5-day summer theatre camp for ages 6-12. The Teen Playwriting Intensive will occur May 29-June 1 during the evenings and weekend in Sylva. The Youth Summer Theatre Camp will occur June 3-7 in Cullowhee with Staff available from 8am-4pm.
What is Staff Pay for Summer Camp work?
All hired Staff will be paid a stipend ranging from $350-$425, depending on their hours and responsibilities. Payment will be issued on the final day of each session.
